Meet Dr. Egan
My name is Dr. Matthew Egan and I am so excited to serve the Tri-Cities community! I’m a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic and a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA. I have been in practice for fifteen years. Before moving to East Tennessee in 2022, I ran a successful chiropractic office in Northern California for ten years. Most importantly, you are my top priority and I am committed to providing you the highest level of chiropractic care.
Let me share how chiropractic care changed my life. Growing up, I was involved in many sports such as swimming, soccer, basketball, and baseball. At the age of thirteen, I suffered my first serious injury while playing baseball. The pain started in my right shoulder, moved to my left shoulder and before long I was unable to move my whole upper body without pain. I sought treatment from several medical providers and through weekly physical therapy sessions however, my condition unfortunately worsened. My injury not only took me out of the game of baseball but it also became difficult to function well in life. I was in constant pain, fearful, and depressed. My doctor informed me that surgery on both shoulders was the only other option to try to correct the injury. A week before my scheduled surgery, a family friend referred my father to a chiropractor. We were very skeptical but my parents and I thought it was worth trying before my surgery.
After my first chiropractic adjustment, I felt an improvement in my overall mobility and decreased pain level. We canceled the surgery. A month after consistent chiropractic care, I was back to playing baseball daily and my vitality returned. Chiropractic care completely gave me my life back and continues to improve my quality of life today. I have made it my mission to become a skilled and experienced chiropractor with a passion for improving the quality of lives in my community in the same way chiropractic care has changed mine!
